Research stage

As the site located on the old Bangkok dock Chao-Phaya River and are in Creative district area. The creative district movement focus on driving the district into creative district by trying to RELIVE and REMAIN its(context) original characteristic. The Bangkok dock have its own valuable historical background and building (the boat warehouse and dock its self) so the designer try to preserve and enhance its characteristic of the old dock as well as provide space for knowledge cycle and linking the community nearby to the river to enhance relationship between people and river by offer the public program(public recreation space, park) according to the research that people in the community said "lack of public recreation space to express their creativity or even for recreation activity in daily life" so this approach is not just enhance quality of living in the community but also is the strategy to draw people into the commercial program and to make project vibrant.

Relive the old ware house and turn it to be the knowledge center, by remain its characteristic and main structure. Bring in the function boxes and circulation. Put the green area on the right wings of warehouse to reduce heat and the harsh feel of rustic iron.
